Create Your Own

 

If you prefer not to auto-generate schedules, you can Create Your Own () schedule manually.

Select a class from the drop-down menu (1), view sections to pick one that works with your schedule (2), and view how it looks on your schedule (4). Manage your class sections (5), and then finish (3):

 

Select a Class

First, select a class from the drop-down menu options:

This list of classes are the ones populated in the previous step of adding classes.

 

View Sections

Upon class selection, the table below populates with different available sections of the selected course:

Interactive areas include the following:

  • Add ()  Adds the available course section to your schedule
  • Friends ()  View the friends in this section
  • More Information ()  View the full section details
     

 

Section columns include the following:

Column Description
Status

Status of the selected course section:

  • Add ()
  • Selected section (); cannot be added
  • Time conflict (); cannot be added
  • Full; cannot be added
  • Days & Times TBA; cannot be added
  • Busy Time Conflict; cannot be added

Section

Section number
Title Title of course section
Time

Start and end times of the course section

  • Online courses without start/end times are denoted as such
Days Day/s of the week the course is held
Start Start date of the course section
End End date of the course section
Seats

Number of seats "x of x" filled

  • Numbers are dynamic, updated with every page refresh

Friends

View your friends who are also taking this particular course section
More Information More information () about this section, including wait list information, in the full section details

 

Add Sections

Add course sections to the calendar via the Add () button. Each added section is placed on your schedule displayed on the calendar.

All added sections are displayed in a list below the calendar:

View Calendar

The course sections you selected have been added to your schedule and appear on the calendar (on the right). Each course is color-coded for display purposes:

If Busy Times are created, those timeframes appear as gray squares on the schedule to indicate time(s) unavailable for class.

Scroll to view details of the calendar day

  • Online courses run across the top span of the calendar display
  • Classes that run part of a term (e.g., half a semester) appear side-by-side on the calendar:

Evaluate which section of a class to add to your schedule by viewing the full section details.

 

View Scheduled Sections

The sections area just below the calendar lists all course sections color coded to the calendar:

Interactive areas include the following:

  • More Information ()  View the full section details
  • Delete ()  Remove this section from the schedule

 

Section columns include the following:

Column Description
Class Color-coded course number

Section

Section number of the associated course
Title Course title
Time Start and end times of the course section
Day Day/s of the week the course is held
More Information More information () about this section, including wait list information, in the full section details
Delete Remove () this section from the schedule

 

Finished Editing Sections

To finish editing sections, click the Finished Editing Section button (). Your newly created schedule will be displayed on the calendar:

  • Section details display below the schedule
  • Alternate schedules may be selected the left of the schedule

 

Use the Edit Sections button () to return to the previous screen–sections are enlarged for ease of management:

 

Schedule Outputs

Once created, several options to output the schedule to print, export, or email are available.

 


Pre-Enroll

Once schedules are created, wait until your campus registration window opens to push your classes to your campus registration system.
