Batch Edit

Once you have your equivalencies selected you can use the  button to make edits to all of them.

Notice the yellow box with red text. ALL of the selected equivalencies will be updated. Edits will overwrite existing data. Checking a field to edit and leaving the field blank will “wipe out” the existing data in that particular field. For example, checking the Public Note checkbox and then leaving the Public Note update box blank will wipe out all of the Public Notes for the selected equivalencies. Typing information into the Public Note box will overwrite the existing Public Notes for the selected equivalencies. Using the Batch Edit funtion, you can:

  • Change or Add a Begin Date for/to all of the selected equivalencies.

  • Change or Add an End Date for/to all of the selected equivalencies.

  • Change the HIDE? Flag to Yes (to Hide the selected equivalencies from the Public View) or No (to reveal the selected equivalencies in the Public View) for all the selected equivalencies.

  • Add, Change, or Remove a Public Note to/for/from all the selected equivalencies.

  • Add, Change, or Remove a Private Note to/for/from all the selected equivalencies.

  • Click the SUBMIT button to complete the updates (or the RESET button to clear all of the edit fields).

  • When you click SUBMIT, you will be prompted/reminded that this action will affect ALL of the selected equivalencies:

  • Click OK to proceed with the update (or click Cancel to return to the search results).

  • When you click OK, you will see a message indicating the number of (successfully) updated equivalencies.
