Programs Import Record Format

Transferology Programs Import/Export Record Format

Both School Administrators and Program Administrators can import and/or export programs in the Transferology format.

The Transferology Programs Import Record Format is the same as the Transferology Programs Export Record Format.

We have chosen to use 6-digit codes. So a value of "01" would be entered as "01.0000". If you do not store CIP codes using this format in your SIS you will need to modify the value to fit this pattern before importing your programs.

Legend

Required- field must not be empty and must not contain only space characters. The length of the field value must be in the range specified by the length column.

Optional- field may be empty. If the field is not empty, the length of the field value must be in the range specified by the length column.

Reserved for future use - the field isn't currently used by Transferology but may be used in the future.

Legacy u.select Programs Import/Export Schema

Both School Administrators and Program Administrators can import programs in the legacy u.select format. Only superusers can export programs in the legacy u.select format.

The legacy u.select Programs Import Schema is the same as the legacy u.select Programs Export Schema.

Per the CIP website, CIP code values are displayed "in the following formats for 2-, 4-, and 6-digit codes: 01, 01.01, and 01.0101." For consistencies sake, we have chosen to use 6-digit codes. So a value of "01" would be entered as "01.0000". If you do not store CIP codes using this format in your sis you will need to modify the value to fit this pattern before importing your programs into the Transferology Lab.
