TES Mode
TES ModeThe purpose of TES Mode is to help users target the courses from other institutions for which students most want transfer answers. Users with the TES evaluations role assigned to their account may enter TES Mode to create evaluation tasks from courses appearing in four areas of the Transferology Lab:
When viewing matches in the Course Bundles, TES Mode tab is available for those courses listed on the Maybe tab (i.e., courses that have not yet been reviewed by this school and therefore may not transfer), if applicable.
The example below will explore TES Mode when searching for matches on a course bundle. Clicking the % Match button for the school directs you to the school's page listing the tab for Matches, Maybes, and/or Misses:
The TES Mode tab is available only when the following two conditions are met:
When both conditions are met, a TES Mode tab will appear on the right side of the page adjacent to the School Profile:
Assign These Requests ToWith the 1.6.2 release, Lab users can specify who to assign TES evaluation requests to, other than the default assignee (if desired).
Add Courses to the TES Mode tabOn the right side of the screen, click on the TES Mode tab; the Maybe tab on the left will automatically toggle to the top when this action is performed. The TES Mode tab is the area where "Maybe" courses from the left side of the screen may be added to and sent to TES for evaluation. As you know, the Maybe tab provides a list of courses that have not yet been reviewed by this school and may not transfer. Select any courses from this list that you want to send out to the TES evaluation workflow. Adjacent to the course of interest at each school on the left, click on the plus button/s (+) to add the course(s) to your queue on the TES Mode tab on the right.
When a course is sent out through the integration, this is called an evaluation task in TES.
Delete CoursesTo delete a course added to the TES Mode tab, simply click the trash can button ( Link CoursesUsers may link together two or more courses from the same institution, which will result in them being evaluated together in TES. When multiple courses are added to TES Mode, those courses taken at the same school display the ability to be selected and linked together via the Link button.
Courses linked together count as a single evaluation task. Click in the selection box to select the courses to be linked, and then click the Link button; the linked courses will now display on the same line on the TES Mode tab:
