1.7 Aug 8, 2017 Release Notes

The 1.7 release introduces over 100 enhancements and improvements to Transferology and the Transferology Lab. The central focus of this release is the new Transfer Pathways feature.

Release Highlights:

  • Student surveys
  • Improved school referral display
  • Additional student statistics
  • Lab usage statistics
  • Custom links for schools
  • Ability to identify additional awards (i.e., Master's, Doctoral)
  • Next day equivalency refresh for TES/Import schools

1.6.2 Feb 28, 2017 Release Notes

The 1.6.2 release introduces 174 enhancements and improvements to Transferology and the Transferology Lab, including the ability of user administration to be performed entirely within the Lab and unification of user accounts and passwords between TES and the Transferology Lab.

Release Highlights:

  • Transferology Lab user administration is now performed within the Lab, thus eliminating the need for a separate UMS application
  • Lab users who also use TES or CollegeSource Online (CSO) will now use the same password for all three applications
  • New Share Course Bundles capability for Lab users
  • Improved Unknown Equivalencies page
  • Improved replacement course email template
  • Both Lab users and students can now view a program's degree type
  • Students may request veteran information when requesting information from a school

Release Notes

The 1.5 release introduces 168 enhancements and improvements to the Transferology Lab, including TES evaluation integration and consistency of UI theming.

Release Highlights:

  • Added the ability for schools not using audits to be able to add unique URLs for each of their programs.
  • Standardized button colors in the Transferology Lab
  • In Equivalencies, Find Replacements needs to use index instead of SQL queries
  • Equivalencies for several American Territories are not show in the Lab
  • Relaxed the strictness of Program file import validation
  • Added date range to Pending Audit Requests page

1.4 Aug 26, 2015 Release Notes

The Transferology 1.4 release contains over 150 enhancements and improvements, primarily to the Transferology Lab. The primary objective of this release is to relocate the remaining school administration functionalities from legacy u.select to Transferology, thereby reducing or removing the need for users to interact with the older product interface. Additional non-administrative enhancements include a revised application menu structure, new troubleshooting information for pending degree audits, and the new Lab user role of Program Administrator. Important highlights for the application include the following:

1.3.1 Feb 23, 2015 Release Notes

The Transferology 1.3.1 release contains over 90 enhancements and improvements to Transferology and the Transferology Lab. Important highlights for the applications include the following:

Release Highlights:

In Transferology:

  • Added Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page to assist students.
  • Improved course and match counts in navigation bar.
  • School's Transfer Information URL is now shown on school's program information view.
  • Incorporated finer granularity for school profile maps.
  • Added state abbreviation next to school names in course lists so multiple schools with the same name are differentiated.
  • Improved wording on the password recovery system to more accurately describe each process step.

In the Transferology Lab:

  • All users can now copy a course bundle to assist creating a bundle with several common courses.
  • Schools with TES rules (administered or imported) correctly show OR rules in the "Will my Courses Transfer" area; this is also applicable to those students at TES schools who work in the Transferology application.
  • New Help menu item to access the Lab's support documents is now available between the My Stuff and Logout menus.
  • Full/Partial credit message is now shown in Lab equivalencies.
  • Provide auto archive option for school's recruit and advise requests.

1.3 Jan 06, 2015 Release Notes

The Transferology 1.3 release contains over 100 enhancements and bug fixes, chiefly for the Transferology Lab.

Release Highlights:

  1. Incorporation of the blue path for finding replacement courses in the Lab application is new functionality introduced with the 1.3 release.
  2. The updated look of the Manage Course Bundles area now incorporates tabs analogous to the blue path "Find a Replacement Course" and green path "Will My Courses Transfer?" already present in the Transferology student application. The new tabs are "Replacement" and "Transfer," respectively.
  3. School administrators working in "Edit Mode" will see expanded access to customize information appearing on their School Profile page.
    1. The Profile Preview tab, "About" section, and "Information Links" are now completely configurable.
    2. A new Contact Emails tab allows administrators to manage how contact emails and request emails are routed within their institution.
  4. Transfer Specialists may use the new Glossary Messages page to create, edit, and delete Glossary Messages. When configured, these helpful messages will appear on the Match Details page in the Transferology application for students. Message types include Alternate Course, DPMask, IFlag, and Target Course.
 

 

1.2 Oct 14, 2014 Release Notes

The Transferology 1.2 release contains 90 enhancements and bug fixes for Transferology and the Transferology Lab.

Release Highlights:

Student

  • Home Page redesign has a bold new look and feel
    • New menu bar, including a College Employees tab linking staff directly to the Transferology Lab
  • Added Searching for a Specific School when viewing matches on both the green and blue paths

Lab

  • Unknown Equivalencies page now displays Year and Month on the details pop-up instead of Year and Term
  • When submitting a Program Request (audit), the "Do you want to view how courses from another school might apply to this program?" prompt will only display for schools running DARwin 3.5.x or u.achieve 4.2.x
  • Receive Account Expired message when subscription is flagged as expired duing authentication
  • Replacement Course statistics

Both applications have undergone improvements to their mobile platforms and accessibility features.

Release Notes

The Transferology 1.1 release contains over 100 enhancements and bug fixes for Transferology and the Transferology Lab. Functionality for students has been expanded to find credit accepted by their school. Staff have additional functionality to identify possible new equivalencies for their school, which will prove particularly useful for Transfer Specialists. Several mobile device improvements have also been implemented, along with enhancements to keyboard navigation and spoken word accessibility.

Release Highlights:

  • Students may use the new Find a Replacement Course path to find courses to complete at another school that may be transferred back to the home school for credit.
  • Transfer Specialists may use the new Popular Courses feature to view which courses students are adding into Transferology and use this information to increase matching.
  • Transfer Specialists may use the new Unknown Equivalencies feature to identify "unknown" equivalencies with unclear articulation rules and be more proactive with rule building.
