This page details the minimum requirements for running uAchieve 4.5:

uAchieve CLIENT

uAchieve WEB Components

(Dashboard, Self-Service, uAchieve Planner, uAchieve Schedule Builder)

Operating System 1

Disk Space
Installation   50 MB 15 MB 100 MB
Memory Specs   See Server Hardware Guidelines

See Hardware and Memory Specifications
Log Directory
  • A typical audit log file running in "debug" mode is 5 MB (per audit)
  • A typical audit log file running in "info" mode is 1 MB
  • A typical audit log file running in "warning only" mode is < 2 KB

The amount of actual disk space required depends on the log level, the number of audits run per day, and how often this log directory is purged. Audit logs are very helpful when debugging problems, however, the logs can be purged after 48 hours.

  • A good starting point for uAchieve database size is 32 GB. As little as 10 GB is acceptable, as long as there is room for expansion at a later date.
  • Encoding data is difficult to estimate, but is almost always less than 100 MB.
  • Most of the available database storage will be used for audit reports.
    • Each audit report is approximately 10-50 KB in size.
    • The data required for the analysis data (job_queue_... tables) is difficult to estimate and varies greatly depending on options and your encoding. On the high end, if you will be saving data to all job_queue_tables with every audit (possible but not recommended), and will not be purging those tables at least monthly, you could need up to 100 GB of database storage.

2  The uAchieve applications are written entirely in Java and only requires a Java compiler if customizations are made to the application.

3  The servlet version supports Java 7 and up.

4  The minimum required WebLogic version of 12.2.1 is now required to run uAchieve web apps 4.4 and above. Older WebLogic versions may work following this method, but will not be supported.

5  After January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical support and security updates, per the table below:

Windows Platform Internet Explorer Version
Windows Vista SP2 * Internet Explorer 9
Windows Server 2008 SP2 Internet Explorer 9
Windows 7 SP1 Internet Explorer 11
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Internet Explorer 11
Windows 8.1 Update Internet Explorer 11
Windows Server 2012 Internet Explorer 10
Windows Server 2012 R2 Internet Explorer 11
Windows 10** Internet Explorer 11

*  Since January 12, 2016, Windows Vista SP2 has reached end of support.

**  Windows 10 features Microsoft Edge, a faster, more productive way to browse the web. Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Edge as your default browser and supports Internet Explorer 11 for backward compatibility.

6  Compatibility mode with IE is not supported by uAchieve applications. Instructions for disabling this can be found at the following link:

7  Since Firefox and Chrome are updated so frequently, no specific version numbers are listed. No compatibility issues are known with these browsers.

8  The uAchieve applications have limited functionality on mobile devices, i.e., currently, only running an audit with uAchieve Self-Service is supported.
