uachieve.selfservice.instcds

String
Versions 4.0.0-current
The different instcd's that will be available
The format is simple: Instcd's are defined using an actual instcd value, plus a name to describe that instcd to the user (like "MU" and "Miami University"). The instcd and name are separated by a colon (:) and each instcd/name pair are separated by a comma (,). Optionally, you can have a single instcd/name pair per line by using the backslash (\) to continue the definitions on the next line.

Below is the formal syntax:

<instcd1>:<name1>,<instcd2>:<name2>, etc...

Below is an example of several instcd's configured:

uachieve.selfservice.instcds=\ :Default College,\
                              TRA:redLantern College,\
                              CMP:Computer Design,\
                              MED:Medical School

The instcds you list in selfservice-general.properties should be the list of all possible instcds that you want Self-Service users to be able to access. If you do not want a user to have access to all instcds, you can limit which ones that user can see by creating instcd properties in the Security Application. The first instcd in the list defined in the properties file is considered the default instcd, and will be used as the instcd for student users.
