The IREF Course tab is where the user can set the display format and default credit type values for the course.
Controls the format of the display of the following fields:
Special characters used to identify valid entries for department and course numbers. If a course mask has already been established, it appears in the Mask field, by default.

Click the question mark (?) button next to the Mask link to display a pop-up window with Course Mask Help.
Course Mask Help contains definitions for different values (e.g., for pattern matching, that determine positioning) when entering a course.
Click the Close button or X to close the window and return to the IREF Course tab.
Select the required letter case used to enter courses from the drop-down menu, including:
- Upper (default)
The literal position (e.g., 1 for first, 2 for second, 3 for third) in which the course department should begin. Be careful to input this value correctly.
